Christmas Intro

by

I have forgotten the nostalgia of Christmas and the Holiday Season.

From finalizing Christmas plans to deciding what memorable activities to do… it can feel overwhelming for parents this time of year. Don’t you agree?

In just a couple of weeks the kids will be on their winter break and I get to spend most of those days with them, as a stay at home mom.

This week we decided to add some indoor Christmas lights that Glen installed around our living room windows and they look great! Our tree from last year that Glen bought from a local nursery is still small with sparse branches to hang decorations, let alone Christmas lights, but it is so cute! We named our tree, Bruce the Spruce. Lol.

Here’s a few pictures I snapped so I can share with you, with a little behind the scenes mess and action shots of Glen hanging up the lights while Saoirse plays and creates “earings” packages with the ornaments. She “sent” me a pink set, do you want one? Hehe.

Did you finish decorating last month or this week?

We’re keeping out decorations pretty minimal as usual but one day I will surprise my kids and myself when I wanna go all out or maybe spending Christmas in the sand, Hawaii or Philippines?

I’m looking forward to baking and making Holiday crafts!

I will document some and share some of my favourites.

Next blog, I’m going to share a few unique Christmas gift ideas that are locally made in BC and a few Canadian companies.

What are you looking forward to around this time of the year?

ox.ox. Zen 💛
